VCE VM
Healesville High School is proud to offer the Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major (VCE VM) as an accredited alternate pathway to Year 11 & 12 VCE studies.
VCE VM focuses on applied learning and involves a mixture of classroom learning, work placement and vocational studies (Industry Certificates, Traineeships and School Based Apprenticeships).
Students are required to meet academic outcomes in Numeracy, Literacy, Personal Development and Work Related Skills while at school for two days per week and are also required to complete work placement in the industry of their choice.
The VCE VM program provides each student a range of certificates such as First Aid, Food Handling, Safe Service of Alcohol and Gaming and Occupational Health and Safety. Collectively these accreditations will assist the students in gaining work placement and employment.
